We often feed our own egos by judging those who lack in the area of the things we excel in.
Good at English? You may Judge people who use the wrong form of – their, there, they’re
Physically fit? You may Judge people who are over weight.
High morel character- you may easily judge anyone you deem as living a sinful life.
Creative and artistic – you may judge those who can never think of an original idea and can only draw stick figures
It is Ignorant to feed our ego (feelings of superior based on simple difference) . Each of us have been given our own gifting’s and talents. Why not learn to appreciate all people for their inherent worth and value. Our pride will be our shame when we stand before the Lord.
We are to be rooted and grounded in love –
“For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?” 1 Cor 4:7
