Jesus endure the cross for all of our sins

This is important- What does biblical judgment really mean? We often miss it.

Ironically, We often believe we can’t discern a persons character believing we are judging them, but have not problem deciding who we think should… “go to hell.”

“For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

First

The women caught in Adultery – The Pharisees brought her before Jesus to judge, but instead of condemning her He said,

“He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

The judgement here is deciding if this women is deserving of death. However, Jesus decided not only to not judge her, but to demonstrate “who are we to judge another person.”

Even more so, Jesus is teaching us who are we to judge if another person is deserving of eternal life or eternal death. Because we have all sinned an fallen short. Only God is able to Judge.

The verses below points out again how we are subject to the law and doers of it. God alone is the one who gave us the Law and only He is able to Judge who is saved or destroyed.

….”but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?”

My point
We often here people say things like “those people deserve to rot it hell” maybe someone says things like this when referring to child molesters, murders, people LGBTQ community, people who abuse animals, women who abort babies etc. This is the example of the type of judgment we are to reframe from.

Again, Because we have all sinned we can’t sit in the position of Judge.

Because we need forgiveness for our sins, then who are we to decide who is deserving of hell.

Imagine yourself and your worst enemy standing before God. God says, “you get to decided.” “Do you want your enemy to spend eternity in hell?” And you answer, “yes! I want this person to spend eternity in hell because of all the terrible things they have done to me.” “They deserve it.”

Do you realize that you just condemned yourself?

This happened to me in a dream. I was the one someone else was judging. Jesus and the lake of fire was right there. The person said, “yes! I want her to go to hell. I was so scared, but instead of me going to hell they went. And then I was terrified for them. It messed me up for about a year. I kept wondering what could I have done to make this person hate me so much. Then I realized, it really wasn’t because of anything I had done, but because of the hate and pride in their own heart.

It is God will that all would be saved and it should be ours as well. We want to see God changing peoples hearts.

“For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Matthew 7:3

Forgive others! Let it be between them and God so there is nothing between you and God.

Matt 18:23-33 is a good read. It is a parable of th
